STUDENT SUCCESS MENTORSHIP
Student Success Mentorship uses a standards aligned Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum to equip students with the skills they need to become not only successful students, but contributing members of their communities.  The curriculum is rooted in two main foundational frameworks: 7 Steps to a Successful School Year: A Complete Guide to Help Students Succeed in School. This framework gives students tangible skills for success in the classroom.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Through our leadership development program, students learn effective formal and informal communication skills, conflict resolution, as well as concepts like Ambition vs. Ability, and Intrinsic vs. Extrinsic motivation. Students also engage in a variety of team building exercises that encourage teamwork and collaborative thinking.

AFTER=SCHOOL PROGRAMS
After-School or Out-of-School Time (OST) programs are integral to the growth and development of our youth. We believe after-school program reinforce what students learn during school and are the key to "bridging the gap between education and opportunity". With programs such as Intro to Culinary Arts, and I2C Academy, students are given every opportunity to express their creativity, and develop skills that will last a lifetime.

FOCUS Futures Academy is intended from grades 6-12 and can be adapted to meet individual gradewide needs.
