Intro to Media Production

During this 8 week Intro to Multimedia production class, students will learn to turn their phones into a high powered production machine.  Every week, students will learn to maximize a different technique from filming to editing leading to a final project of a 1-3 minute short film.

Student will need access to the following:

1. Cell phone
2. Editing software (Capcut)
3. An Email address

Week 1: Introduction to Filmmaking and Smartphone Basics

Week 2: Storytelling and Scriptwriting

Week 3: Shot Composition and Framing

Week 4: Shooting Techniques and Lighting

Week 5: Sound and Audio

Week 6: Editing on Smartphones

Week 7: Adding Music and Special Effects

Week 8: Final Project and Presentation
